I'm disappointed with this years MWC. Manufacturers that started using metal last year turned into glass this year. Which means all mainstream flagships will be made of fragile glass. Huawei on the other hand stayed with aluminium, but dropped the sleek design by adding more bezels. We've seen some nice mid-range devices, but I'm not interested in them.

The event is disappointing. Sony didn't seem to be bothered to release a brand new phone. Huawei is trying very hard to be like Apple it seems and not a huge departure from its predecessor at all. The mid-range phones are indeed interesting, but nevertheless not that important. However, the most depressing thing of all is, LG G6, which I thought would be "the star of the show" is a disappointment. It's true that the screen might be the best LCD out there, or that the design is an innovation to some degree.

However, they killed it off with everything else. SD is bad already, they actually used a worse camera module! It's all pass for me. The S8 might be very different though. Some of us don't want to be conscripted by devices that turn us into narcissistic digital mental masturbaters. Some of us are wise enough not to be given to the newly discovered digital brain disorders like Nomophobia,Technoference, Fauxcellarmism, Cyberchondria and Truman Show Delusion. Ten years ago, people at the cusp of being of millennial age couldn't go a minute without pounding on a Blackberry keyboard.

Some of us don't want to change. Didn't Eric Schmidt of Google admit to using a Blackberry?

Didn't members of the Apple Board of Directors admit the same? Some of us can't change. Some of us don't have the manual-thumb-typing dexterity of a 15 year old. Some of us need a physical qwerty.
